God is madly in love with you.

Let that truth sink in for a moment.

You are seen. You are known. You are loved more deeply than you may even realize.

God didn’t make a mistake when He created you. He wasn’t surprised by your personality, your struggles, your weaknesses, or your story. You are His creation, intentionally made and deeply loved by Him.

One of the reasons I wrote Refined: Knowing God’s Heart, Finding Your Own is because I’ve experienced how freeing it is when we begin to truly understand the depth of God’s love for us.

When we know who God says we are and how He sees us, we can begin to live from a place of freedom, expectation, and peace instead of being weighed down by worry, anxiety and fear.

Psalm 139 is filled with beautiful reminders that we are fully known and fully loved by our Creator. I also know from my own journey that believing and accepting these truths doesn’t always happen overnight. It’s a process. It’s a journey that is worth taking!

If you’re struggling today to believe that you are loved, seen or valued, I want to encourage you to take one small step: spend a few quiet moments with God and ask Him to show you how He sees you. Open Psalm 139 and let His words speak louder than the voices of fear, doubt, or insecurity.

You are not a mistake.

You are not forgotten.

You are deeply loved by God.
