No Shame

Have you ever driven the same route day after day, seeing the same things along the way—until one day something suddenly strikes differently?

A sign in a yard reads, “Shame on you!” It has been passed countless times over the course of years, yet one day its message lands with unexpected weight. Shame is a powerful word to throw around. It carries deep impact and can affect the heart of the one who reads it.

Countless people live under the burden of shame, trapped by feelings of insecurity, worthlessness, and regret.

This is the complete opposite of what God desires for His children. He never intended for them to carry shame, nor to place it on others. Jesus already carried shame to the cross.

Romans 8:1 states this clearly: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Shame does not come from God—especially for His children.

Every person has faults. Every person has sinned and fallen short. No one is better than another because of those failures. The call is simple: bring those burdens to Jesus, ask for forgiveness, and continue moving forward toward becoming more like Him. It is a lifelong journey, one that will not be complete until meeting Him face to face.
